Dr. Katrina von Kriegenbergh is an interventional pain management doctor who empathizes with those suffering from chronic pain and loss of function after an injury ended her ballet career. She earned a B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine with honors and research distinction.
She served as Chief Resident during Anesthesiology residency and stayed at Texas Tech to complete a Pain Medicine fellowship as it is widely regarded as one of the most prominent and respected Pain Medicine fellowships in the country with extensive interventional experience. Dr. von Kriegenbergh specializes in interventional pain procedures for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine including implantation of spinal cord stimulators and medication pumps. She treats sympathetically mediated pain for complex regional pain syndrome and chronic abdominal and pelvic pain.
She is trained in interventional procedures for cervicogenic and migraine headaches, including nerve blocks and Botox® for chronic migraine. Dr. von Kriegenbergh is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
